“Before I give you a full quotation I’ll sit down with you and discuss exactly what you want included. My quotes are fully broken down and specify everything that you are paying for so you know exactly what you are getting for your money. I will not tempt you with low prices and then sting you with a huge list of extras that you would normally assume were included.”

“I understand most customers aren’t builders and that you may not understand technical terminology or the ins and outs of the associated trades and professions. This is why I guide you through everything from getting your pre-construction paperwork in order, right through to getting your completion certificate. If you have a question, then my team are really approachable so you don’t feel intimidated or embarrassed to ask “stupid” questions. Our job is to help you to enjoy the experience of having your home extended.”

“You can see that work is being done but because you may be unfamiliar with the process, knowing what is going on might not be that obvious to you. This is why at the end of every day we debrief you on what has been completed and what is due to be done the next day. Within your quote I provide a chart with dates of when the different stages will be started and finished so you can keep track of progress throughout the build.”

“Large material deliveries turning up unannounced (to you at least); tradesmen you’ve not met wanting to get in to your house; electricity or water being shut off unexpectedly. These are all instances which could cause you to become upset. This is why we inform you of what is going to happen ahead of time so you can prepare if need be. We also introduce you to our tradesmen as and when they turn up to carry out work on your home.”

“On every job we set up a group message between yourself, me and other important contacts such as your project and site manager. This is so that everyone is always aware of the various changes/developments and things don’t get missed. It also makes sharing pictures of work and potential problems really simple. “We only take on one job per team at a time for this very reason. There might be the odd days here and there where we are awaiting materials to arrive or for a sub-contractor to become available but we certainly won’t disappear off site without first telling you. At the end of the day we are on a price and want to be finished as quickly as you want to enjoy your home again.”
